Using our
Database Interchange (DBI) option, you can
easily tie your shipping or mailing department into the rest
of your business. DBI allows you to 'map
and translate' your order entry information into
our G2 systems. For example, your shipping
clerk simply enters an order number to generate
the right shipping label. Then the system
can automatically send shipping costs, tracking
numbers or other information back to your
accounting or CRM systems. Best of all,
DBI is easy to use and very flexible!

§ Shipment
Data
– This is done in real-time and allows data for
a shipment (Address, Carrier Services, etc. to
be pulled into G2 MCM for application to the
shipment in process. Likewise, when the shipment
is recorded, data pertinent to that shipment
(Shipping costs, tracking numbers, etc.) may be
pushed out of the G2 MCM.
§ Batch
Data
– This is done on demand and allows for table
data such as Accounts, Addresses or the User’s
Commodity Table to be imported (pulled) or
exported (pushed) between G2 MCM and a foreign
database.
